These daily, monthly, or even inconsistent pieces written around the company and the industry can offer a great deal of value to you and your business.</span></p>
<h5 style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #003366;"><em>Regular Blogs</em></span></h5>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #333333;">Writing a regular blog, aside from being somewhat cathartic for many people, is also a sound marketing technique.  In order to start your own, you have to have a topic in mind.  Generally, companies choose a topic closely related to their business, or even comment specifically on industry-related news each time.  If there is enough happening in your industry then that might be the path to consider.  However, you may need to consider another avenue if the news is inconsistent or unlikely to captivate an audience.  For instance, if you run a café, you might consider a blog that focuses on coffee.  Topics could include unusual coffees around the world, desserts that are best served with coffee, statistics on coffee drinkers, the health benefits of drinking a cup a day, or even what celebrities are known to start their routines with a daily cup o’ joe.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><em> </em><span style="color: #333333;">Many larger companies, technology related companies, and others trying to stay up to speed with the internet crowd, have also opted to keep a blog related to their company’s news.  Changes to policy, a new release, a beta trial of a new product, or awards won for their achievements are among the many topics that might be highlighted in such a blog.  However, these are not consistent.  Updates cannot be expected daily or even monthly.  There may be three entries in a single day and then nothing more for two months.  These are excellent ways to keep other bloggers, media, and interested parties involved with what is happening within the company, but not a great way to draw in repeat readers.</span></p>
